We got goose bumps to keep us warm. Certain muscles called hair erectors make hair stand up straight and cause goosebumps when its cold. This is to trap warmth. We also get goose bumps at times of fright or excitement.

“There are cases that indicate that Facebook, and other social networks, could be a source of psychological stress.” said Dr. Gennaro D’Amato.

He had a case of an 18 year old teenager who had asthma which often recurrent. Strangely, an asthma attack occurred after the teen viewed a women's profile on Facebook who recently dumped him.

He noted that the breathing ability immediately dropped to just 20 percent. Patients should receive inhaled medications or inhalers to get back to normal breathing. The teenager was later persuaded to no longer access the profile of his ex. “Asthma attack stopped after he was asked to stay away from the virtual world, “ said D’Amato.

   FACEBOOK CAN TRIGGER ASTHMA

A group of doctors in Italy suggested people with asthma to be careful in using Facebook social networking site. According to The Lancet Medical Journal, asthma attacks are triggered by psychological stress.

Evading prostrate cancer could be a little easier if you’d put more of these on your plate: cruciferous vegetables. There’s no surefire way to prevent prostrate cancer. Voluntary muscles are also called skeletal muscles because they move the bones. They do not act on their own the way the heart does.

In a recent study of people with history of colon polyps, people who ate the highest amount of processed meats such as salami, bologna or the pressed ham— had a 75 percent increased risk of developing new polyps during the study follow-up period. However, the people who ate the most chicken had 39 percent lower risk of developing a new polyp.

When eaten without the skin, whole chicken breast provides a healthier alternative to processed meats. Fresh whole chicken breast is typically nitrite free, It also is high in protein and low in saturated fat.
